Thanks, Biskitten and ChrisAnthemum and the people who faved it. It's always rough around this time of year. Sun rises after 8am and sets around 4:15-4:30 pm at the shortest day. And as usual those hours I am either at work, running errands, or getting other stuff done. I get to feeling down with the lack of light. It isn't until around February that I start to feel more energetic.

I'd be out today, but this Autumn has been "blessing" us with strings of very bland cloudy days. And also a lot of the trees _still_ haven't changed. They either turned brown or dropped off yellow-green leaves. Yesterday looked better with the sun shining through the clouds but I didn't have a camera where I was going. Darn. But there is an upcoming snow storm that will start late today into tomorrow. I plan to at least bring my camera with me on my errands to see what I can catch.

Very nice, Mary; you don't need to apologize. Also, I remember from when I lived there, how late the sun comes up and how early it goes down in the winter months. In fact, that is my main memory of Minnesota -- always cold and dark, and is the reason I don't live there any more. You have done well with what you have!

About Fieldofflowers

Fieldofflowers

Every day that I come here, I'm amazed by the awesome photos I see. I love to take photos of whatever catches my eye. Usually my photos have something to do with nature. Insects and flowers have always been a big interest. You can also find me on Flickr. Summer '09 goal: Aiming to take pictures daily, and upload some of my favorites. I hope people enjoy them as much as I do. Most of the time, the fun comes from taking the pictures, more than the actual results. Create your own visitor map! Counter started: 6-21-09
