I love watching the seasonal changes through this avenue of Oak trees. Hope you don't mind seeing it again.

It's your favorite this time of the year because of the mistletoe-maybe?
It is a beauty!

These trees would be favorites for me, too!
I love their gnarly, twisted shapes. As Duane
pointed out, it looks like the mistletoe like
these trees, as well...getting them decorated
for the Season, maybe. Beautiful grove of trees
and a beautiful shot, Julia!

Not only mistletoe, but that looks like either a tree fort or a deer stand up in the branches! Either way, a beautiful shot and well deserving of the AC. Congratulations, Julia!

Thank you very much for your kind words
Betsy, Duane, Gil, Kat, Mary, Dorothy,
Kathy and GingyB.

It's not just the mistletoe here, but
rather the entire character of the tree
with its knobby limbs and, of course, the
tree platform where some youngster(s) must
have had great times.

Thank you WU staff for providing my
favorite tree with a garland of blue.

Interesting tree... loaded with mistletoe! No oak trees for mistletoe here where I live now. Always intend to get some when I come down for a visit, but always forget when I'm there.

Thank you, Nancy, Donna and James.

Well, we seems to have plenty of mistletoe,
so maybe I should clip some and start selling
some to you folks!

Well, "twisted and gnarly" have been abundantly and perfectly used to describe these beautiful, old Oaks. I can see why they're your 'favorite'. Great photo, Julia!
