Amazing shot. I have only seen eagles once in person and I certainly didn't get a shot like this (however I was proud of them anyway)!

Thanks... beanhead: I like your title suggestion!

Michael, Shane and I had a great outing today - I believe we saw over 100 eagles (Most out of range of our 300mm lenses).

Congratulations on an AC deserving of more than a 10. My favorite bird.

About Cptkirk
Cptkirk My camera packing sons and I are Kansas transplants from the Rockies!(My special son Michael - handle "utjazzfan", and Shane (Mr. Lightning)- handle "idzrvit" carry our cameras everywhere we go and have been photographing the outdoors and wildlife for over 20 years. I have drawers full of photos, but have "come of age" with digital. I now shoot anything I want without fear of a wasted shot. The result is some terrific photos I may not have taken with my 35mm! Sharing our photos with our friends at "wunderground" is a real plus!
