I hope it is still a brewery. The world would be a sadder place without beer and especially the smaller one.

Thanks everyone for your comments, myself and the tractor-driver used to make wine on the farm, 1992 was our best ever year. What we had made was Rice and raisin wine and we put 2 bottles aside for if ever one of us left the farm. As it turned out the farmer packed up in 2005 and finished us both same time, our wine was drunk and so were we, that day we were on our bicycles and we must have fallen off a dozen times before we reached the road. At least we finished with a good laugh!

We have a legal Moonshine business in Newport. Well I think it is still in business, lol. They had a explosion not long after they started producing. No major injuries but was shut down for a while. I bought a bottle for keepsakes and finally curosity got the best of me and I broke the seal. That stuff make my ears turn red and I had red stripes running up and down my forehead, lol.

Thanks for your comments guys, don't know why it came up as Criccieth when its in Porthmadog. The brewery was shut when I passed, my brother-in-law swears by it and always takes a few home when they go.

Beer/ cider from micro breweries usually tastes better than the stuff from the big guys. Just had a look at the website, did you buy any?

About Cowgazer

Cowgazer

I am Peter, brought up in the center of Manchester, UK. But was a square peg in a round hole there, worked 33 years as stockman in dairy farming then made redundant. Luckily got a job managing a garden nursery for a couple of years, but had to leave as tenancy came to an end. Couldn't find work so relocated to Wales and am now a self-employed gardener, great move, good things come out of hard times. Digital tech has made photography affordable to me and I love it, compliments my walking and Birdwatching. At present on a steep learning curve, new things are always good, stretch your mind and keep you sane-ish.
