Two Faces Of Nature

Eckert, CO (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: This old tree stood alone in the field..not a good thing, since lightning will find the highest spot. Got this tree pretty good. You can see where it burned, but, as is Nature's way, a new tree is growing out from the roots. You can see that it is time for babies, too. Lots of them out in the fields with their mamas..some brand new this day. Another storm wanders by in the high country beyond.

Great find beautifully captured, Kat !
The cruelty and beauty of Mother Nature combined !
Lovely to see the little black "bumps" in the greening pasture -a new season that brings forth new life - one of Mother Nature`s miracles !
