Littlton, CO

Caption: ...and she brought her very new baby. She spent time washing the baby and then hid it in a safe place in a nice, shady corner of the yard and spent her whole day grazing and resting. I guess she has moved in and feels safe, so I called the workers and told them to leave the gate off so she can come and go and I told the guy who does the lawn NOT to do the backyard for a while and not to disturn her and her baby. I have to leave tomorrow for the farm and I will miss the owls and deer!

Your entire series is absolutely amazing, Kat! You have so many superlative shots! All 10's! All favorites, though I just put one in there. Is it not ironic, that you are leaving the deer behind in the city to go to the farm? :) These captures are just so rich and beautiful! I hope they are safe and undisturbed while you are gone.
