Stopped by to see my goaty friends again today. They were very curious and came right up to the fence to greet me.

That head looks like its made from velvet, I have a real soft spot for Goats. We kept them for many years, they were like Dogs going for walks with us, great fun.

Thank you, Dawn! Actually, for around my own place, I think I prefer my dogs. Though the way they munch at the grass in the yard, it's hard to tell they're not goats, LOL!

I have another photo which I will post of this goat and another, which shows that the body is all white. The color-headed white goats are Boers, I believe; that seems to be normal coloration for them. Thanks for your comment!

Thank you for the info about this breed of meat goat. I attended the massive PA Farm Show in Harrisburg this past Jan. but did not have time to view the sheep and goats...will do so next year.
