Westfield, NC (Current Weather Conditions)

Caption: The oft-rumored but seldom seen SUN? When this light appeared in the sky, which has been dark and gloomy for days, I grabbed my camera and quickly got a few shots. Good thing I did; twenty minutes later the overcast became solid again. End of show.

Wilma, I think it was last Thursday when I got a glimpse of the sun; since then the sky has been so heavy a person couldn't even tell where it was. Lots of rain, too, but mainly clouds and fog. Well, at least I don't have to wonder if I'm missing a pretty sunrise or sunset... none of the above. Thanks for commenting!

So you had some proof, too? I was beginning to wonder if I would recognize the sun by the time I next see it! *smile*
