Thank you, Gil! The sky had been totally clear all day until it suddenly clouded over about 3 p.m., and then I thought there would be no sunset until it blew clear just as suddenly about 5. Thank you, Betsy! Yes, I have seen some others; maybe it IS the time of year. I seem to get more colorful sunrise/sunset shots in winter, thought it must be the humidity or angle of the sun, or maybe I just notice the sky more when there are no flowers to capture, LOL! I think this is the first time I've seen a good one when I had my camera with me and could find a place from which to shoot it. It sure didn't last very long, just a couple of minutes.
