If you look at the first 2 pix in this series, the sky actually looked more like that to see with the eye. To get this colorful effect, I saturated the image highly, tilted the color toward the red, increased the contrast and decreased the brightness a little, and used Digital Noise Reduction to remove most of the resulting graininess. To me, this is "cooking" the picture 'way beyond what I usually do, with the result looking quite different from the original, and that is why I ticked the category "manipulated images." Glad it has pleased so many people!
