The day started off cloudy with a sprinkle, but the forecast was for clearing later, and that's exactly what happened. Caught this image of Pilot Mountain on my way home from Winston-Salem Wednesday.

Thank you for commenting, delver! I know the NC Baptist Men's Association, where I have friends (not all of them men) has sent teams to storm-stricken areas many a time, both within the state and in other states, to serve meals, provide hot showers, and assist with salvage and repair operations. To my knowledge, they have teams in Sandy-stricken areas right now. Local power companies have also traveled for some distance to assist other areas with power outages due to major storms like that.
