I can see where my brother had a house on the lake - many moons ago. I have not been there in ages (like 20 years). Drive by all the time on 68 enroute to WVU and family in southern WV. Nice shot!

Thank you! It is one of my favorite places. We have friends with a home on the lake there and a relative with a house on one of the ridges where this picture was taken.

About Blizzard92

Blizzard92

I am a senior at Cornell University majoring in atmospheric sciences with a minor in Applied Economics and Management. My present research interests include small spatial scale climatology and understanding the critical relationship between the environment and climate change. I am interested in trying to understand these effects to further increase prevention and mitigation strategies during the short and long term.Currently, I am working on research related to the timing onset of spring through leaf and bloom dates of plants. By analyzing maximum and minimum temperature values, a 'Spring Index' can be derived and analyzed for climatological pattern changes. Outside of academia my interests including long-term seasonal weather forecasts, reading, hiking, and in general my love for the outdoors
