BARRED OWL spotted by my 'Eagle Eye' hubby,right after I was really praying to see one and be able to take a photo of one,,as it has been so long since we have seen an owl on one of our drives in the country,,and we were BLESSED! :)))) My vantage point was not the greatest,but I worked with what we could..late afternoon sun thought the trees,a wonderful and warm day for the end of Novemember!

Hi KIDDIES!!! O.K.,,there seems to be a bit of confusion about this photo,,,I AM on the left,,a gal!![MINDI],,and the right-hand pic is of BOB my hubby!! I cloned the two images together,,of us taking pics of each other,,so we could give you folks an idea of who we are,,replacing the previous photo of our two favorite eagle family youngsters...We live in Shenandoah,Ia.,,and enjoy [especially me] taking lots of pictures!! I do most of the posting on here,,that's MY thing..and I try to put up Bobs when he takes some good ones...I would also like for you to check out the older ones from time,to time,,I like to share my images,,though not always the greatest,,just to give you an idea what life is sometimes like here in S.W. Iowa.. I came out here from the East Coast and interior New England,where I lived until 1992,,I also lived in Philly for a few years,and Bob is born and raised here in Shenandoah.,,but loves other places that we have visited too. I am happy to have found this site to learn how to take better photos,,meet new people,and make new friends,and be dazzled by what folks share of their 'world'in pictures on here.
