OH MY GOSH!  I was just working with my photo of the same goose. You could tell it was a goose, and that's all.  I am in Wisconsin and there were three of these geese at Lake Kegonsa near Stoughton WI.  One of the WU people had identified it for me as an African goose and said they were probably somebody's privately owned or had escaped from a zoo.  THIS MORNING I was working on uploading to Facebook to see if anybody recognized them... and HERE THEY ARE, a whole gaggle of them!!!  OMGosh.  I have several posted on WU.  I believe they are all dead by now..not sure why.  I am so glad to see a photo of them in their original place. THanks!!

We have a large flock of these that live in our town in Texas. It is nice to see them in their native environment. They are beautiful birds.
