... High wind watch remains in effect from late tonight through
Saturday evening...

A high wind watch remains in effect from late tonight through
Saturday evening.

* Timing and main impact: ahead of a cold front approaching from
the west... southwest winds will increase late Friday night
over the Rocky Mountain front and along the hi-line east to
the Sweet Grass hills. Winds will become even stronger out of
the west Saturday morning and continue through the day with
the passage of the cold front. Saturday afternoon into
Saturday evening... winds will gradually decrease. Travel
could become hazardous for those driving high profile
vehicles.

* Winds: westerly winds of mostly 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 60
mph are possible... but 35 to 50 mph with gusts to 75 mph are
possible over higher terrain and through favored gaps along
the Rocky Mountain front.

* Locations affected include: Choteau... Chester... Shelby...
Browning... Marias Pass... Cut Bank
