Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:25 PM MST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5 am MST
Wednesday...

* timing... snow will continue to develop through the evening
hours. A few showers may produce brief heavy snow. The snow will
gradually diminish in the Denver area after midnight... but snow
may linger on the Palmer Divide into the early morning hours
Wednesday.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches... with up to 7 inches next to
the foothills.

* Wind/visibility... north winds at 15 to 25 mph are expected
behind a front this evening. The gusty winds combined with the
heavier snow may reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less.

* Impacts... roads will become snowpacked and icy in spots for the
evening rush and in all areas by or shortly after sunset.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
