The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of Oklahoma and Texas... including the following
areas... in Oklahoma... Cimarron. In Texas... Dallam... Deaf
Smith... Hartley... Moore... Oldham... Potter... Randall and
Sherman.

* Through early Saturday evening

* thunderstorms with heavy rain will be possible across the Texas and
Oklahoma panhandles through Saturday. The runoff from the heavy
rains will likely cause areas of flash flooding. In addition to
flash flooding concerns... runoff could also affect Playa Lakes
around Amarillo that are at or near capacity.Thunderstorms with
