... Flood Warning extended until Saturday afternoon... the Flood Warning continues
for
the San Bernard River near Boling
* until Saturday afternoon... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 9 am Wednesday the stage was 21.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to continue rising to near 23 feet Thursday
morning.
* At 22.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding begins upstream of the gage with
significant backwater flooding up Peach Creek in Wharton County inundating low
lying areas. Minor backwater flooding up Snake Creek in Fort Bend County
begins.

... Flood Warning extended until further notice... the Flood Warning continues for
the Brazos river near Rosharon
* until further notice... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0815 am Wednesday the stage was 51.3 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.
* Flood stage is 43.0 feet.
* Forecast... a broad flat crest near 51.5 feet is expected to continue for the
next 12 to 24 hours followed by a very slow fall.
* At 50.8 feet... moderate lowland flooding continues as minor flow passes
through the culvert near the Ramsey unit Prison Farm into Oyster Creek and
water flows over the flood plain into Oyster Creek.

for
the Brazos river in Richmond
* until Friday afternoon... or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0815 am Wednesday the stage was 49.9 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast... a broad flat crest near 50 feet will continue through tonight. This
will be followed by a very slow fall Thursday morning but the river is
expected to remain above flood stage for the next couple of days.
* At 49.8 feet... massive lowland flooding occurs with many homes in Simonton and
Thompsons flooded. There is major flow across the flood plain into Oyster
Creek near Harris Reservoir and the Ramsey unit Prison Farm.
