* until Thursday morning
* at 12 PM Monday the stage was 13.0 feet
* flood stage is 11.0 feet
* the river will continue rising to near 14.4 feet by after midnight tomorrow.
The river is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday morning.
* Impact... at 14.5 feet... flooding of several houses begins near 32nd and 33rd
streets in Ruskin.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... the canoe rental area floods.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... the river overflows its banks.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 14.3 feet on Sep 26
2013.

the Hillsborough River near Zephyrhills
* from tonight through further notice
* at 12 PM Monday the stage was 9.1 feet
* flood stage is 10.0 feet
* forecast to rise above flood stage by tonight and continue to rise to near
10.8 feet by Wednesday early afternoon.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... Hillsborough River State Park is closed. Lowland
flooding occurs at the Mobile Home Park near Branchton on State Road 579.
* Impact... at 8.0 feet... some State Park operations are suspended.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9 feet on Dec 14
2002.

... A Flood Warning remains in effect until 430 PM EDT for
northern Hillsborough... southwestern Pasco and northern Pinellas
counties...

At 1218 PM EDT... Doppler radar and public reports indicate very
heavy rainfall has occurred across the warned area with rainfall
amounts of 3 to 7 inches with locally higher amounts.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Tampa... Clearwater... largo... Temple Terrace... New Port Richey...
Hudson... Lutz... Holiday... Brandon... Tampa International Airport...
Egypt Lake-leto... University... Land O Lakes... East Lake... greater
Northdale... Palm River-Clair mel... Jasmine estates... Palm Harbor...
town 'n' country and Citrus Park.

Additional rainfall of around 1 inch is possible in the warned area.

Law enforcement and the public have reported flooding at numerous
locations across the warning area. Some of the roads that have been
reported flooded include but is not limited to...

- intersection of erlich Road and Brooksville court closed due to
flooding in Clearwater.
- Significant flooding of parking lots on the Campus of University
of South Florida in Tampa.
- Intersection of Gulf to Bay and McMullen Booth Road in Clearwater.
- Intersection of Starkey Blvd and decubellis Road in New Port
Richey.
- Interstate 275 south bound exit ramp to westshore Blvd closed due
to flooding in Tampa.
- Intersection of little Road and trouble Creek Road in New Port
Richey.
- East bound entrance ramp to west bound Interstate 4 from State
Road 574 in Tampa.
- Intersection of Hillsborough Ave and George Road in Tampa.
- Countryside Blvd and concorde CT in Clearwater.
- Intersection of Hillsborough Ave and Tampa shores Blvd in Tampa.
- South bound entrance ramp from Fletcher Ave on to Interstate 275
in Tampa.
- Palm terrace subdivision in Port Richey flooded with several feet
of water in Port Richey.
- Intersection of Starkey Road and decubellis Road in New Port
Richey.
- Intersection of little Road and Jasmine Blvd in New Port Richey.
- Westshore Blvd at Kennedy Blvd and west Cypress in Tampa.
- East and west bound at intersection of State Road 60 and macdill
Ave in Tampa.
- Intersection of Hillsborough and George Road closed due to
flooding in Tampa.
- West Shore Blvd north and south bound at Kennedy Blvd and west
Cypress St in Tampa.
- North and south bound little Road between Massachusetts Ave and
Ridge Road in New Port Richey.
- Cape Cod Road flooded in Holiday.
- Countryside Blvd north and south bound flooded south of Curlew
Road in Palm Harbor.
- County Road 611 on Tarpon Woods Blvd in Palm Harbor.
- Adamo drive both east and west bound at 50th street in Tampa.
- Dale Mabry between Bay to Bay Blvd and after Henderson Blvd in
Tampa.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.

... Flood Watch now in effect through Tuesday evening...

The Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of FL and west central Florida... including the
following in FL... coastal ... Citrus... coastal Hernando...
coastal Hillsborough... coastal Levy... coastal Pasco... inland
Citrus... inland Hernando... inland Hillsborough... inland Levy
and inland Pasco. In west central Florida... Pinellas.

* Through Tuesday evening

* the potential for continued excessive rainfall through today
with localized additional accumulation totals exceeding 5
inches. Rainfall is expected to be less widespread on
Tuesday... however any additional localized rainfall will renew
the areal flooding threat.

* Highly saturated soils and the potential for additional heavy
rainfall will continue the risk of widespread areal and street
flooding. If possible... clear drainage systems of any debris
which may become clogged in flooding rains.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next
24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take
action to protect property.
