The storm dumped up to over 20 inches of snow in western Virginia and West Virginia Wednesday. Temperatures were just barely mild enough to prevent any major accumulations in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
Thursday, snow will wrap westward into New England and the Hudson Valley of New York. Strong winds will persist from coastal New England to parts of the Mid-Atlantic coast.

- Snow: Wind-driven snow in most of southern New England, except for Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, where it should hold as rain. Snow spreads westward into Berkshires, Hudson Valley, and parts of the New York City metro area.
