Weather Underground Forecast for Monday, May 28, 2012. A transitioning weather pattern will greet much of the continent on Monday. A moderately strong storm will begin the day south of Ireland before slowly moving northward and then northwestward away from the United Kingdom. This will translate to diminishing showers for Ireland as the storm moves away from the coast.

Meanwhile, a second storm will begin the day over Greece and Bulgaria before moving very slowly northward as the day progresses. Thus, moderate to occasionally heavy rain is expected from Greece through Romania. The heaviest of this rain is likely to fall over Bulgaria.

Elsewhere, scattered showers may develop from France through Germany, but these showers are not expected to be widespread in nature.

Farther to the north, a front will makes its way southward through the Scandinavian Peninsula. This front will produce rain and windy conditions from northern Norway through Sweden and northern Finland.

London will rise into the upper 70s(F)/mid-20s(C), while Paris will see temperatures in the upper 70s(F)/mid-20s(C). Moscow will rise into the upper 60s(F)/lower 20s(C).
