... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 5 am to 7 PM MST
Monday above 6000 feet...

* timing... snow is forecast to increase Monday morning around
commute time and continue... heavy at times... through early
Monday evening.

* General event total snow accumulations... 8 to 15 inches above
6000 feet elevation with 2 to 3 feet above 8500 feet. See

* Snowfall forecast from 5 am MST Monday until 7 PM MST Monday...

     Doney Park 4 to 8 inches Flagstaff 6 to 10 inches
       Williams 6 to 10 inches

Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 1:34 PM MST on March 01, 2015

... The small stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until 1100 am
MST Monday for portions of Oak Creek in central Coconino and east
central Yavapai counties...

At 118 PM MST precipitation had decreased to light showers over the
advisory area. Oak Creek is currently falling near Sedona... but
continuing to rise downstream near Cornville.

Occasional light showers are expected to continue through this
evening... and increase once again late tonight into Monday when
additional rises are expected on Oak Creek.

River stages will go back down 2-4 feet from their peak levels this
evening and then begin to rise again Monday morning to the forecast
levels mentioned above.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Expect low river crossing in Oak Creek Canyon and around the Page
Springs and Cornville areas to become impassable at times due to
fluctuations in the creek level along Oak Creek.

Live stock and trailers near Oak Creek... may need to be move to
higher ground.
