Special Statement
Statement as of 10:02 PM AKDT on August 29, 2015

... Periods of gusty northerly winds expected over southcentral
Alaska the next few days...

Gusty north to northwest winds will develop again over most of
southcentral Alaska overnight and persist into Monday. While the
strongest winds are expected to be less than the winds from
Friday and Friday night they will once again increase the risk of
small trees blowing over. Use caution around campfires as the
strong winds can cause fires to spread rapidly.

In addition the relic ash from the 1912 eruption of katmai
Volcano may get resuspended and impact Shelikof Strait and Kodiak
Island as it did a few days ago.
