Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 2:43 AM MST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MST this
evening...

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MST this
evening.

* Summary and timing... periods of occasionally moderate snow will
continue into the mid- morning hours. Light snow will then
persist this afternoon before tapering off this evening.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches with higher amounts possible
along Meeteetse Rim. Up to 10 inches possible in the absarokas.

* Wind and visibility... north wind of 20 to 30 mph. Visibility
of one mile or less in snow and blowing snow. Wind chills will
be near 20 below zero at times.

* Impacts... snowfall will create snow packed roadways resulting in
difficult travel. Windy conditions will create low visibility
and low wind chills today which could be deadly to Newborn
livestock and could cause frost bite to humans and animals who
are left exposed to the conditions for an extended period of
time.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and blowing
snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.

The latest Road conditions provided by the Wyoming Department of
Transportation are available by calling 5-1-1 or on the internet
at wyoroad.Info.
