Flash Flood Watch
Statement as of 2:28 PM MDT on August 03, 2015

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through late tonight...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Wyoming... including the Wind River mountains west
and east... and the Salt River and Wyoming ranges.

* Through late tonight

* a small but strong upper level disturbance will rotate into
the region later this morning... bringing monsoonal-like
moisture with it. Scattered to numerous showers and embedded
isolated thunderstorms will spread across the area this
afternoon and evening... with areas of very heavy rainfall
possible... especially over favored mountain locations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
