Watches & Warnings

Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 9:34 PM EST Feb. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 6 PM Monday to
6 PM EST Tuesday...

* rain showers on Monday will change to snow by Monday
evening... and temperatures will fall below freezing. Snow
showers will continue at times into the day Tuesday... and then
begin to taper off.

* Snow will accumulate over a prolonged period... with totals by
late Tuesday in the 1 to 3 inch range for most locations.

* As temperatures fall below freezing... roads and walkways will
become slippery... especially those which are untreated.
Localized heavy snow showers may also bring greatly reduced
visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
