Statement as of 4:38 AM MST on November 14, 2009 ... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this afternoon through Sunday morning... A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this afternoon through Sunday morning. Snow will increase in coverage over the area late this afternoon and will continue through Sunday morning. The snow may be heavy at times during the overnight hours. Expected snowfall for this storm will range from 4 and 6 inches over the lower elevations of the watch area and 6 to 13 inches over the Laramie and snowy ranges. Winds are expected to be fairly light... so blowing and drifting snow should not be a major concern. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue to monitor the latest forecasts.
