* Affected area: the southern Wasatch front including the cities
of Lehi... Provo and Nephi.

* Winds: northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph

* timing: this afternoon and evening

* impacts: strong winds will create hazardous conditions on
Utah Lake and for high profile vehicles traveling through
Utah County this afternoon and evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
31 mph or gusts of 45 mph are expected. Motorists in the advisory
area should be prepared for sudden gusty Crosswinds which can
make driving difficult.

... Red flag warning remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening
for gusty winds and low humidity for fire zones 435... 436 and
438 below 7000 feet...

* affected area: fire zone 435 southwest deserts and mountains
below 7000 feet... fire zone 436 central Utah mountains below
7000 feet... fire zone 438 Henry Mountains below 7000 feet.

* Wind: southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts in excess of 35
mph are expected this afternoon. Winds will shift to the west
in many locations across central and southern Utah by late
afternoon. Winds will shift to the northwest during the early
evening across central Utah as a cold front moves through the
area.

* Humidity: relative humidity values will drop to 6-12 percent this
afternoon into this evening.

* Impacts: the combination of strong southwest winds and low
humidity will create critical fire weather conditions today.
