* at 958 am CDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
showers and thunderstorms... some of which were producing very heavy
rainfall... located from around Tyrone south to Gruver and Spearman.
Rainfall reports of 1 to 3 inches have been reported so far in
eastern Texas County and Hansford County... with radar estimated
rainfall amounts of 2.5 to 3.5 inches in an area from Hardesty to
Gruver.
A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

rain will be heavy at times. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3
inches will be likely... with some locations possibly receiving in
excess of 4 inches by late Monday evening.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
The threat of heavy rain could persist into Tuesday and it may become
necessary for the Flash Flood Watch to be extended into Tuesday.
