Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue to move east and south across the western and central Oklahoma Panhandle...and the western and southern half of the Texas Panhandle. The showers and thunderstorms will be confined to those locations mainly west and south of a line from Liberal Kansas to Spearman to Higgins through 1 am CDT. Some of the storms will be capable of producing gusty winds. Heavy rain may also cause localized flooding. A line of strong storms from between Hartley and Dumas to Simms will track south and southeast to near a Dumas to Hereford line by 1 am CDT. Rainfall amounts will generally average between a tenth to one quarter of an inch...however locally heavier amounts of one to two inches will be possible overnight tonight from the slow moving thunderstorms.
