337 PM EDT Tue Jun 30 2015

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
northwestern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...
western Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
northwestern Lehigh County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* until 730 PM EDT

* at 334 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lehighton... Palmerton... Jim Thorpe... Slatington... Pen Argyl...
Nesquehoning... Wind Gap... Weatherly... Walnutport... Christmans...
Danielsville... Rossland... Reeders... Long Pond... Pocono Pines...
Berlinsville... Beltzville State Park... Brodheadsville... McMichael
and Kunkletown.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... don't drown.
