A high surf advisory remains in effect until 4 am PST Wednesday.
Heavy swell will bring high surf to the southern Oregon coast. Breaker heights will build to around 25 to 28 ft this evening... persist through Tuesday... then slowly subside Tuesday night. The largest surf will occur in the coastal waters of Coos County.
The most hazardous conditions will occur Tuesday through Tuesday night as the predominant wave direction veers from southwest early in the morning to west by late morning.

A High Wind Warning remains in effect until 4 am PST Tuesday.
South winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 50 mph will increase to 30 to 45 mph with gusts to 65 mph early this evening. Winds will be strongest near the shore... including possible gusts near 80 mph around Cape Blanco. These strong winds will reach a peak around midnight then taper off Tuesday morning.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage. Travel will be impacted... especially for high-profile vehicles.
