the Flood Warning continues for
the Little River near Tecumseh.

* Until this evening... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 1:30 am Thursday the stage was 12.4 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring.

* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Little River has crested and will continue to fall.
The Little River will fall below flood stage late Thursday
afternoon.

* Impact... at 12 feet... flooding to depths of 1 foot occurs over
croplands... pastures... and rural roads along the river. The area
affected is entirely rural... and downstream of Lake Thunderbird...
from near Macomb in Pottawatomie County to near Bowlegs in western
Seminole County.

the Canadian river at Purcell.

* From this morning to Friday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.

* At 1:30 am Thursday the stage was 9.1 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Canadian river will rise above flood stage mid
Thursday morning and crest near 13.0 feet early Thursday
afternoon.The Canadian river will fall below flood stage early
Friday morning.

* Impact... at 12 feet... shallow flooding of low-lying areas occurs
near the river on the Cleveland-McClain County border from near
Norman... and Noble to the vicinity south of of Purcell and
Lexington.

* At 1:00 am Thursday the stage was 11.2 feet.

* Moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* Forecast... the north Canadian river will rise above flood stage
late Thursday morning and crest near 17.5 feet early Friday
morning.The north Canadian river will fall below flood stage mid
Friday morning.

* Impact... at 18 feet... significant flooding affects agricultural
areas and rural roads in eastern Oklahoma County... the southwest
corner of Lincoln County... and northwestern Pottawatomie County.

central Pottawatomie County in central Oklahoma...

* until 245 am CDT

* at 1138 PM CDT... National Weather Service radar indicated very
heavy rain with a severe thunderstorm near Seminole. 1 to 3
inches of rain is likely with this storm and another storm west of
Earlsboro.

* Some locations that will experience minor flooding include
Seminole... Tecumseh... Wewoka... Maud... Earlsboro... Bowlegs...
Cromwell... Brooksville and little.
