regional weather discussion... showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to move slowly south and southeast across southern Oklahoma and western North Texas through 3 PM. The activity will affect areas mainly along and south of a Atoka... to Sulphur... to Walters... to Crowell Texas line. A few isolated showers will be possible farther north into central sections of Oklahoma along and south of Interstate 40. Rainfall amounts will average around a tenth of an inch an hour. Otherwise a cold front will continue to push through far southeast Oklahoma this afternoon with much cooler temperatures across Oklahoma and western North Texas today. Afternoon temperatures are expected to top out in the 80s with a northeast wind of 5 to 15 mph.
