The Flood Warning is cancelled for
the Wildhorse creek near Hoover.

* At 3 am Sunday the stage was 12.1 feet.

* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Wildhorse creek will crest below flood stage at 14.4
feet Sunday evening.

The Wildhorse creek is now forecast to crest below flood stage at
this location. This will be the last statement for this location
for this event.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Washita river near Dickson.

* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 3:30 am Sunday the stage was 31.7 feet.

* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Washita river will continue rising and crest near
37.3 feet Monday evening then begin falling.

* Impact... at 37.0 feet... flood depths up to 12 feet extend damages
along the Washita River Valley... from near Davis in Murray
County... to near Dickson in Carter County... to the headwaters of
Lake Texoma in Johnston County. Many homesteads could be flooded or
isolated. About 8 thousand acres of agricultural lands are covered.
Any flooding on tributary creeks is increased by backwater from the
river.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Oklahoma and northern Texas... including the
following areas... in Oklahoma... Atoka... Bryan... Carter...
Coal... Garvin... Hughes... Jefferson... Johnston... Lincoln...
Love... Marshall... Murray... Pontotoc... Pottawatomie and
Seminole. In northern Texas... Clay.

* Through Monday morning

* an additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is possible through
Monday morning. Rain totals 1 to 4 inches of rainfall... with
locally higher amounts will be possible.

* Road closures and washouts will be likely along with the
potential for inundation of homes and businesses in the areas
of heaviest rainfall. Water may rise rapidly creating
dangerous currents that could wash away cars as well as
individuals caught in the flow.
