These showers and storms will move northeast at 10 to 15 mph and will be capable of producing small hail...wind gusts to 30 mph...and brief heavy rainfall. Rainfall amounts across central and eastern Saint Lawrence County will be between two and four tenths of an inch. Elsewhere rainfall amounts will be less than a quarter of an inch.

At 450 PM EDT... strong thunderstorms were along a line from South Hero to Shelburne Point to Shelburne to Basin Harbor... moving east at 20 mph.
Wind gusts to 40 mph and pea-sized hail are possible with these storms. In addition... brief heavy downpours and frequent cloud to ground lightning can be anticipated with this line of storms.
These storms will be near South Hero around 500 PM... Shelburne Falls around 515 PM... East Georgia around 530 PM and Huntington around 545 PM. Boaters on Lake Champlain should seek safe Harbor due to localized gusty winds and higher seas along with frequent cloud to water lightning.
