The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River near Greenville
* until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Monday the stage was 48.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to a crest near 49 feet by
Thursday July 16.
* Impact... at 48 feet... water begins to cover the dirt Road leading
to the farmers grain terminal facility which is north of the
Greenville bridge.
* Impact... at 45 feet... Lower Lake Ferguson Road is closed. Warfield
Point park is closed.

breaks the old record for the daily low maximum temperature of 75
set in 1940.
