Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 10:28 AM CST on February 28, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 PM this
afternoon to noon CST Sunday...

This Winter Weather Advisory is for areas along and northwest of a
line from Van Buren Missouri... through Cape Girardeau... to Marion
Illinois.

* Timing: light snow will spread eastward into the region
today... but most of the accumulating snow will be after 3 PM. It will
gradually change over to freezing rain overnight into Sunday
morning. Temperatures will climb above freezing by noon Sunday.

* Main impact: snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected
underneath less than a tenth of an inch of ice. The higher snow
amounts will be along and north of Interstate 64.

* Other impacts: untreated roads will become slick and hazardous.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
