The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM EDT this
evening.

* Affected area... fire weather zones 017... 018... 022... 023...
024... 028... 029... 030... 034... 035... 036... 041 and 042.

* Wind... southwest winds will increase quickly this morning... with
gusts ranging from 15 to 30 mph. Strongest gusts expected to the
north of the M-72 corridor.

* Humidity... minimum relative humidity values between 15 and 25
percent expected.

* Highest threat... is located east of I-75 and north of the M-72
corridor where winds are expected to be strongest.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
will occur shortly. A combination of strong winds... low relative
humidity... and warm temperatures will create explosive fire growth
potential.
