Look for newly developed scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms to continue moving to the east around 30 mph across East Texas and northwest Louisiana. Some of the heavier showers will be moving along the Interstate 20 corridor affecting communities near Lindale...Winona...Liberty City... Kilgore...and Longview Texas. By 3 am CDT...the leading edge of the main batch of showers will move to near a Pittsburg...Marshall...Beckville...and Cushing line. More scattered activity will affect communities near Jefferson and Carthage Texas and Longstreet...Vivian...and Benton Louisiana. Rainfall amounts will be near one quarter of an inch per hour in the heavier downpours and generally less than one tenth of an inch in the light showers.
