* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southwestern Lee County in southwestern Florida...

* until 545 PM EDT

* at 341 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
portions of Lee County. Up to one inch of rain has already fallen
according to Doppler radar estimates in portions of southern Lee
County and the Lee Island coast.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...

beach hazards statement for a moderate risk of rip currents which
is in effect from noon EDT today through this evening.

* Hazards... moderate risk of rip currents.

* Timing... from noon through this evening.

* Location... area beaches from Pinellas to Lee counties.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A moderate risk of rip currents means wind and or wave conditions
support stronger or more frequent rip currents. Always have a
flotation device with you in the water.
