Statement as of 2:04 PM MST on January 30, 2015

...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 PM MST Saturday...

* timing...snow will continue intermittently through Saturday evening. The heaviest snow will occur tonight.

* Snow accumulation...6 to 10 inches. Around a foot at locations above 10000 feet.

* Winds...south 5 to 10 mph.

* Impacts...roads will be slushy and snow packed...especially highways 550 and 145 through the San Juan Mountains and Utah Highway 191 from Blanding through Monticello. Heavy snow may restrict visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
