The Flood Advisory continues for
the Mississippi River at Helena
* until Tuesday may 21.
* At 01 PM Saturday the stage was 42.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 44.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will slowly fall to near 42.4 feet Saturday may 18.
* At 43.0 feet... Road to Landing east of downtown Helena begins to
flood. Places along bank of southwest side of DeSoto Lake are
flooding. Facility along the River North of friar's point is
flooding.

... Record daily maximum rainfall set at Tupelo...

a record rainfall of 1.81 inches was set at Tupelo yesterday. This
breaks the old record of 1.03 inches set back in 2003.

NOAA Weather Radio station wxj-51 in Jonesboro Arkansas is back on
the air this afternoon. But we will be monitoring the broadcast for
a few hours to make sure it is stable.
