The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 8 am CST this morning.
Local observations indicate that areas of dense fog continue to develop early this morning. The dense fog will be most prevalent in rural low lying areas and near bodies of water... including the Interstate 10 Bayway. The fog will begin to dissipate by 8 am.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
