Synopsis For The Southern Oregon Coastal Waters
South wind increases rapidly this evening as a deep low moves into the northern Oregon waters. Winds decrease late tonight as the low moves inland. Weak high pressure arrives Monday before another much weaker front moves through the waters Tuesday.

Northern portion...S wind 30 kt...rising to gales 40 kt early in the evening...then...becoming S gales 40 kt late in the evening...veering to SW after midnight. Wind W 30 kt late tonight. Brookings southward... S wind 15 to 25 kt early in the evening...rising to gales 35 kt...then...becoming S gales 35 kt after midnight. Occasional gusts up to 50 knots40 kt late tonight. Wind waves 4 to 7 ft...building to 8 to 11 ft. W swell 10 to 11 ft at 12 seconds. Numerous showers before dark...then rain.

NW wind 15 to 20 kt...easing to 5 to 15 kt in the late morning and afternoon. Wind waves 3 to 4 ft in the morning... becoming 2 ft or less. Swell W 12 to 13 ft at 12 seconds. Rain likely in the morning...then chance of showers in the afternoon.
