.Synopsis for the north Gulf coast+kodiak island waters+
Cook Inlet...
A 983 mb low 140 nm southeast of Kodiak weakens to 986 mb Sat afternoon 210 nm south of Yakutat and then continues to move east. A 972 mb low 400 nm south of Kodiak Sun morning intensifies to 965 mb Sun afternoon 290 nm southeast of Kodiak.
4 to 8 tenths new ice lies in Knik and turnagain arms.
2 to 5 tenths new ice lies from the Susitna river Delta near the
North Foreland and Bruce platform.
Forecast through Wednesday...a slow warming trend will result in less and less ice build up each day of the next five. Dp 2009
