South winds 10 to 20 knots. A chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms through midnight...then showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Waves subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.
Saturday
South winds 10 to 15 knots veering southwest 5 to 15 knots by mid afternoon. Showers and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves subsiding to calm to 2 feet.
Saturday Night
North winds 5 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms through midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Waves building to 1 to 3 feet...then subsiding to calm to 2 feet.

* Wind and waves during the small craft advisory: expect sustained winds of up to 19 knots from the south...with gusts up to 21 knots. The largest expected significant waves will be 5 feet with a maximum wave height of up to 8 feet possible.

* Timing: the maximum winds are expected around 12 PM EDT Friday with the largest waves expected around 6 PM EDT Friday.
