Southwest winds 5 to 15 knots increasing to 10 to 20 knots. A chance of snow. Waves 2 to 4 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
Thursday
West winds 10 to 20 knots becoming northwest. Snow likely...then a chance of snow showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 5 feet.

...Gale watch in effect from Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a gale watch...which is in effect from Monday morning through Tuesday afternoon.

* Winds: southwest winds will increase to 35 knot gales on Monday and increase to 40 knots Monday night and decrease to 30 knots on Tuesday.

* Waves: waves will increase to 10 to 13 feet Monday night and will begin to subside on Tuesday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A gale watch is issued when there is potential for gale force winds of 34 to 47 knots in upcoming days. Mariners should monitor the forecast and prepare to take appropriate actions or consider altering their plans.
