Walvis Bay to Orange River: wind : S to se 15 to 25, reaching 30 to 35 in the south from the afternoon, becoming SW 05 to 15 in the extreme north from the late morning where it will become variable 05 to 10 by the end of the period. Vis : good, but poor in morning and evening fog patches. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, reaching 3.0 to 3.5m in the south from the second half of the period, SW swell.
Orange River to cape agulhas: wind : S to se 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 30 in places. Vis : good. Sea state: 2.0 to 3.0m, reaching 3.5m south of Cape Point from mid- morning, spreading to Orange River by the end of the period, mainly SW swell.
Cape Agulhas to east london: wind : S to SW 10 to 20, reaching 25 to 35 in the east, becoming E to se 05 to 15 in the west by the evening. Vis : moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in places, becoming good west of port Alfred by the end of the period. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m, becoming 4.0 to 5.0m west of port Alfred from the afternoon, spreading to east London by the evening, mainly SW swell.
East London to Maputo: wind : N to NW 10 to 20 in the north, otherwise S to SW 15 to 25, spreading to Maputo by the afternoon, reaching 30 to 35 in places. Vis : moderate to poor in showers and thundershowers in places. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m in places from mid-morning, becoming 3.0 to 4.0m in the extreme south from mid-period, spreading to Richards Bay by the end of the period, SW swell.
