Cunene River to Walvis Bay: wind : S to se 10 to 20. Vis : poor in fog patches. Sea state: 2.0m, S to SW swell.

Walvis Bay to Orange River: wind : NW 10 to 15 south of luderitz, otherwise S to se 05 to 10, spreading southwards by the end of the period. Vis : poor in fog patches. Sea state: 2.0m in the extreme south at first, S to SW swell.

Orange River to cape agulhas: wind : N to NW 10 to 20, reaching 30 south of Cape Point. Vis : good, becoming poor in fog north of cape Columbine towards the end of the period. Sea state: 2.0 to 2.5m, south of cape Columbine, SW to se swell.

Cape Agulhas to east london: wind : E to NE 10 to 20 east of Plettenberg Bay, otherwise W to SW 05 to 10, becoming light and variable in the west. Vis : good, becoming moderate in showers and thundershowers between stilbaai and east London. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m, SW swell, becoming E to se swell.

East London to Maputo: wind : N to NE 10 to 20, reaching 30. Vis : good. Sea state: 2.5 to 3.5m in the south, S to SW swell.

Mozambique channel: wind : S to se 10 to 20, reaching 30 in the south-east. Vis : good, but moderate in showers in the North-East. Sea state: 3.0 to 3.5m in the south, S to SW swell.
