Synopsis For The Suwannee River To Destin Out To 60 Nm
Synopsis
Northwest winds have increased to advisory levels across the area this morning in the wake of a cold front...and seas are rapidly increasing as well. Sustained winds are expected to peak tonight with occasional gusts up to gale force. Seas are expected to peak around 10 feet well offshore. Winds and seas should drop below advisory levels by midday Sunday as high pressure builds closer to the marine area. The high is expected to move east of the area by late Monday with winds veering to onshore by Monday evening. An area of low pressure will develop over Louisiana Monday night and then move east along the Gulf Coast... reaching the Florida Panhandle by Tuesday evening. Onshore winds will increase to exercise caution levels from late Monday night through Tuesday ahead of this system. A cold front will then shift winds to offshore for Wednesday.
